I stepped off of Dwolla’s board today. After 17 years – it’s time for me to move on.
Dwolla is an incredible product & I have countless fond memories with the team and everyone in the community.
My time with Dwolla was capped with an integration, as a customer. Being a customer allows me to connect more closely with the product I love so much, which is where my passion is and always has been.
Dwolla was something I wanted to build to solve a problem, and hundreds if not thousands, of people over the years made that a reality. Now that it’s there, I get to depart using it as a solution to a problem I have as a customer. It’s canonical in a way that has to make a few people laugh.
It’s hard to look in the mirror and be disappointed at this point. Dwolla is one of one, and it has been one of life’s true gifts to be a part of it.
Dwolla changed my life. And I am very grateful.
Good thoughts. Good words. Good deeds.
