“An essential aspect of creativity is not being afraid to fail”
I spend my life traveling and learning from people smarter than I am. My partner is an artist and my kids are all dramatically different successes. I can never remember how old I am.
I’m confused with about me pages which are written in the third person by the first person. They seem disingenuous.
If you’re on this page because you have a meeting with me. Here is what I look like:
I am fortunate to be able to love and know a very small group of people well.
I have also been fortunate to work with thousands of people around the world building great software & hardware. A friend once described me as a mad scientist and even though I know he did not mean it as a compliment, I took it that way.
My best work has arguably been in magnetics, payment protocols, and a consistently receding hairline.
I like coffee, building things, art, and pretty words.
